Completely Relax With Craniosacral Therapy

The objective of craniosacral therapy is to find areas of impeded movement within the system and reestablish normal movement and flow of the craniosacral rhythm. During a craniosacral therapy session at CU Healing Arts, Chuck uses a light touch to feel the rhythmic motion of the cerebrospinal fluid.

He is checking for the symmetry, rate of flow, amplitude, and quality of this motion in the places where the membranes of the craniosacral system attach to the bones of the skull and sacrum (tailbone).

Blockages or restrictions that are discovered are treated with gentle light-touch adjustments to restore normal function. Restoring normal functioning of the craniosacral rhythm can have wide impacts on the body. It improves the functioning of the central nervous system and facilitates the body's self-healing potential.

Understand the Craniosacral System

The craniosacral system is a distinct system of membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surrounds and protects the brain and spinal cord. This system provides nutrients and an important electrolyte balance for the central nervous system, and its proper functioning is related to the proper functioning of every system of the body.

The craniosacral system has a powerful influence over the nervous, endocrine, and immune system functions, thus creating a total body effect. Within this system, the fluid rhythmically pulses in an independent cycle distinct from the cardiac and respiratory rhythms.

I have been going to Chuck for over 20 years. His knowledge of the body and his mastery of a vast array of techniques gives him great insight for finding and working out your problem areas.

Whether you are looking for a really good deep-tissue Asian bodywork, or you prefer a more Western approach, this is your guy.
As a bodyworker myself, I am very picky about who I let work on me and Chuck is at the top of the list.
